::RSS or Atom subscriptions do not come through email but are similar to email. You need to have a special "feedreader"--a program that lets retrieves articles in this form. Email software like Microsoft Outlook and Thunderbird have feedreaders built in, and there are some free readers out there. If you use Firefox browser, there should be a little orange symbol at the bottom of this page. Click on that and you can sign up for RSS through Firefox bookmarks.
